Your EPIC Home Inspection Covers:

In addition, our inspector will do a thorough evaluation of both your attic & your roof to estimate the insulation, air flow, framing, hurricane readiness, roof coating, overhang, gutters, downspouts and drainage. A typical home inspection can take between 2-3 hours depending on the size, as well as the age of the property.

Termite Inspection

Your inspector will thoroughly inspect the interior and exterior of your home for evidence of termites or other wood destroying organisms. Visible signs of a termite infestation typically include droppings, mud tubes and damaged wood. All windows, crawl spaces, window/door frames, baseboards, closets, cabinets, fascia board and roof trusses/sheathing will be inspected.

Four Point Inspection

A four point inspection is typically required by insurance companies when a property is 30 years of age or older. Our inspector will cover four major systems: Roof, Plumbing, Electrical & HVAC.

Wind Mitigation

A wind mitigation report is performed to test a property's wind resistant features. This report informs the insurance companies of the stability of the property in the event of strong winds. The features looked at most include door/window coverings (such as hurricane shutters), whether or not your roof has openings needing to be sealed, and how the roof is attached to the property.

Air Quality Testing

For some, the quality of air in a property is a big concern. Air quality testing is performed to find traces of radon gas, mold and other biological contaminants. Our air quality samples are sent out to be evaluated by professionals in the field and results are typically received within 24-48 hours.
